1905 - The North Ryde School of Arts Committee featuring Old Boy Patrick John Cooney. Patrick affectionally known as John or Jack was foundation pupil of the College in 1890s. Patrick won a book prize in 1896 which was donated back to the College around the time of the 125th Anniversary in 2016. It would be one of the old artefacts at the school. Patrick was an Orchardist at the family's farm in Allen Street (now Allengrove Street) North Ryde. Patrick was born in 1877 and passed away on 18.10.1955. He lived most of his live in North Ryde.
